HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
With the objective to participate in the capture, processing and marketing of seafood products, Inversiones Bacochibampo (IBACO) and Pesquera Marzar, S. A. de C.V. Were established in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico in nineteen ninety one. We focus our capital investments, resources and infrastructure in the capture and processing of shrimp.
Our wild shrimp is caught from the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the beautiful coast of Sonora, Mexico. Our fleet consists of twenty-seven vessels, which -during shrimp season- produce over six hundred and fifty thousand kilograms of shrimp. On average, seventy percent of our production is marketed in the United States and Japan, in a manner that consolidates our business in said markets.
