HISTORICAL BACKGROUND<\/h2><\/div><\/div>

With the objective to participate in the capture, processing and marketing of seafood products, Inversiones Bacochibampo (IBACO) and Pesquera Marzar, S. A. de C.V. Were established in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico in nineteen ninety one. We focus our capital investments, resources and infrastructure in the capture and processing of shrimp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our wild shrimp is caught from the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the beautiful coast of Sonora, Mexico. Our fleet consists of twenty-seven vessels, which -during shrimp season- produce over six hundred and fifty thousand kilograms of shrimp. On average, seventy percent of our production is marketed in the United States and Japan, in a manner that consolidates our business in said markets.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Is to maintain a consistent capture, processing and marketing of wild shrimp using advanced technology, uniform standards and certifications at international levels, focusing on maintaining and catering to Mexican and export markets; let it be clear that our personnel is our greatest asset and what makes our companies a success.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Protecting our resources and the environment is our top priority, for this reason, each one of our crew members receives training in Turtle Excluder Devices and Fish Excluders.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, our waste is brought to land where it is disposed at collection centers for proper handling.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

OUR COMMITMENT TO CREW MEMBER SAFETY<\/h2><\/div>
All of our crew members are certified in navigation; said certificate is issued by the Port Authority once training requirements have been met. Our vessels are equipped with rigid life rafts, lifejackets, flotation device life lings, flares as well as GPS navigation system on each vessel. Maritime safety and the safety of our crew is paramount to us.<\/span><\/div><\/div>
